Front End Developer

Summary

Join ISHIR as a Front-End Developer specializing in Shopify themes. You will develop and customize Shopify themes using CSS/SCSS, collaborating with designers to translate Figma designs into responsive web pages. Leverage your design background to ensure high-quality visual execution, optimizing pages for performance and cross-browser compatibility. Maintain code quality and communicate effectively with team members. This remote position requires strong CSS and SCSS proficiency, CMS experience, and a keen eye for detail. Experience with Tailwind CSS and e-commerce platforms is a plus.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in CSS and SCSS
• Experience with Tailwind CSS (a plus, but not essential)
• Experience working with content management systems (CMS)
• Familiarity with design tools, especially Figma
• Strong understanding of typography and design principles
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (a plus)
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Decent communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey ideas clearly
• Ability to provide samples of code work to demonstrate your CSS expertise. Local environments or staging sites are okay to show

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify (a plus, but not required)
• Basic to intermediate understanding of JavaScript
