Front End Developer

Summary

Design and develop cloud-enabled products, collaborating with stakeholders and utilizing modern frameworks and technologies. You will advocate for agile methodologies, translate requirements into sprint stories, build prototypes, and contribute to SDLC and tech stack evolution. We offer competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $78,400 to $98,000 CAD and an annual bonus. The role requires 3 years of SaaS enterprise software development experience in distributed teams and expertise in full-stack web application development using modern frameworks. Experience with AWS and a startup environment is desirable.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience developing SaaS enterprise software in distributed teams
• Experience developing & integrating full-stack web applications using modern frameworks, with knowledge in some or all of the following; Typescript, Node.js, React, Java, APIs, modern databases
• Strong knowledge of modern cloud architectures and technologies

Responsibilities

• Design and develop our cloud-enabled products, working on all parts of the code stack as we utilize modern frameworks and technologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders within the business including Product team and User-Experience team to understand their requirements/criteria
• Advocate and evangelize modern agile methodologies and best practices
• Take a role in translating requirements to sprint stories and executing on them
• Build quick prototypes to refine concepts, then turn them into real production-quality features
• Contribute to the evolution of the SDLC and the tech stack

• Experience with AWS
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
