Frontend Artificial Intelligence Engineer

This is a fully remote position with a 9 AM - 5 PM EST work schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development, particularly with modern web applications
• Proficiency in TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern web design principles (responsive design, component-based architecture)
• Experience with state management tools like Redux or Context API
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Highly motivated and able to take ownership of projects without needing micromanagement
• Previous experience working in an AI startup or fast-paced tech environment is a must
• Must have experience collaborating closely with design and product teams, translating business requirements into frontend solutions
• Ability to thrive in a remote-first environment, managing time effectively and communicating clearly across distributed teams
• Eagerness to stay updated with the latest trends in frontend technologies and AI-driven products

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using TypeScript and frameworks like React or Next.js
• Create responsive, accessible, and visually appealing UI components aligned with design guidelines and brand aesthetics
• Work closely with designers and product managers to translate design requirements into user-friendly and functional features
• Optimize frontend performance, ensuring smooth and fast load times across various devices and browsers
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs to deliver seamless user interactions and platform functionality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design systems and UI/UX tools like Figma to ensure consistency across the platform
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for building inclusive, accessible applications
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library
• Experience with internationalization/localization (e.g., using i18next) to support a global user base
