Front-end Developer

Summary

Join Alts Digital, a fast-growing, 100% remote company based in Portugal, as a Front-end Developer. You will collaborate with designers and product managers to create compelling user experiences, develop and maintain code, and ensure high performance. The role requires experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React or Vue preferred), and API integration. Requirements

• Have experience with HTML, CSS and pre-processors like SASS/LESS, as well as design tools such as Figma
• Have a strong understanding of JavaScript frameworks (e.g.: React or Vue)
• Have experience with API integration, understanding how to connect and interact with data sources
• Have at least 2 years of development experience using web technologies
• Have experience collaborating with designers and working with wireframes, mockups, and design systems
• Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in materialising our vision for our products
• Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Have a drive to excel and see things flourish in a small, dynamic team
• Have a passion for staying on the bleeding edge of platforms, methodologies and web trends
• Have a personal portfolio of work, beyond what you've done on the job (show us your personal Github repo or contributions to other projects!)
• Be able to strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other Developers, Designers and Product Managers to create the most compelling and successful experience possible
• Help to create a fantastic User Experience through the implementation of design on our diverse range of products
• Perform hands-on development, testing, debugging, and ongoing maintenance of new and existing code
• Ensure high performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects
• Solve technical challenges for new features
• Keep up-to-date with emerging design techniques and trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with NextJs
• Have an understanding of SEO and accessibility principals
