Frontend Developer

Summary

Join WRS Health, a leading provider of cloud-based EMR and practice management solutions, as a talented Front End Developer. You will play a key role in updating and customizing our website using WordPress and ReactJS, collaborating with the marketing team to optimize user experience and performance. This position requires strong expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and CSS3, along with experience in Git platforms and JIRA. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team within a scrum framework, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintaining high code quality. This is a full-time, remote independent contractor position with flexible hours.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Front End Developer
• Strong expertise in ReactJS and JavaScript frameworks
• Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Familiarity with git platforms like GitHub and GitLab
• Experience with JIRA for project management
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality work
• This is an independent contractor position
• Job Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the website design aligns with user experience requirements and is consistent with UX guidelines
• Optimize the website for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring efficient performance across all devices and browsers
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, writing reusable code and libraries to streamline development
• Validate all user input before submission to the back end, maintaining high standards of code quality
• Work within a multidisciplinary team, including back-end developers and web designers, to deliver cohesive and functional applications
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, continuously improving and updating skills to bring innovative solutions to the team
