Summary
Join Coalition as a Frontend Engineer and build high-quality, scalable user experiences for both customer-facing security applications and internal tools. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver and operate quality user experiences across web and mobile platforms. Responsibilities include building user experiences, contributing to technical excellence through code reviews and testing, partnering with product and design teams, and collaborating on feature development and release. The role requires experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs. Bonus points are awarded for experience with backend API development and familiarity with SQL and AI tools. Requirements
- Experience building web-based user interfaces with modern JavaScript / Typescript, React, HTML and CSS
- Solid understanding of HTTPS and RESTful API concepts
- Ability to debug issues with tools like DevTools and DataDog - with the ability to troubleshoot across the full stack a plus
- Experience using source control tools like git & GitHub
- Experience working in a team-based agile environment
- Curiosity and desire to learn how things work at the deepest levels
Responsibilities
- Build high-quality, scalable user experiences for both customer-facing security applications and internal tools
- Contribute to our technical excellence through participating in code reviews, writing comprehensive tests and building reusable components
- Partner with Product Management, Design and others to sharpen requirements and solve customer needs
- Collaborate within and across engineering teams to design, plan, build, test and release features
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and building APIs or other services in a server-side language like python
- Familiarity with SQL and relational datastores like Postgres
- Familiarity with AI tools to support development workflows
