Frontend Engineer

Summary

Join Settle's mission to make buying inventory super easy by collaborating with product and design teams to build new user-facing functionality. Work closely with the backend team to integrate and design the internal GraphQL API. Implement scalable, flexible, and high-performance user interfaces.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a front-end engineer
• Strong proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
• Familiarity with our tech stack and a passion for learning new tools and frameworks
• Ability to translate business and product ideas into effective engineering solutions
• A growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with test-driven development

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and design teams to build new user-facing functionality
• Work closely with the backend team to integrate and design the internal GraphQL API
• Implement scalable, flexible, and high-performance user interfaces, ranging from simple forms to complex tables with inline editing
• Contribute to our React component library implementing Settle’s Design System
• Participate in initiatives to improve our frontend platform, enhancing development efficiency and optimizing engineering processes, tools, and systems to support codebase scalability and team productivity
• Write clean, maintainable code and leave the codebase better than you found it
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and responsiveness
