Front-End Engineer UX

Summary

Join Jimdo's UX Platform team as a frontend or full-stack engineer to build and maintain accessible, reusable components for their internal design system. You will collaborate with designers and engineers, improve workflows and consistency, guide teams through migrations, and solve challenges at the intersection of design, architecture, and tooling. This role requires 3+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development, expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with React. A passion for developer tools, design systems, intuitive UIs, strong communication, and a team-first mindset are essential. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development
• JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS expertise
• Experience with React (or similar framework)

Responsibilities

• Build accessible, reusable components for our internal design system
• Maintain shared frontend libraries and architectural frameworks
• Partner with designers and engineers to improve workflows and consistency
• Guide teams through migrations and onboarding to new tools
• Solve meaningful challenges at the intersection of design, architecture, and tooling
• Ability to work with a global team in a distributed work environment

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Node.js, Kotlin, Vite, or Jest
