Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in developing and maintaining complex, user-facing web applications
• Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js (versions 2 and 3) and Nuxt 3
• Excellent understanding of developing reusable frontend components in large software systems
• Proven experience in developing front-end components for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) experiments, with a strong emphasis on implementing accurate tracking and analytics
• Demonstrated experience using CRO tools like Optimizely in combination with complex frontend systems to create testable frontend components
• Advanced understanding of responsive design principles and extensive experience with CSS preprocessors/frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to ensure high performance and responsiveness of web applications
• Proven ability to introduce new technologies and practices to improve frontend development workflows and outcomes
• Experience in mentoring junior engineers and actively contributing to their professional development
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues in the frontend codebase
• Proficiency in Git for version control
• Experience with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Vite, Webpack, npm, Yarn)
• Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and integrating frontend interfaces with backend services
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices
• Knowledge of performance testing and debugging practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex user-facing web applications using modern frontend technologies
• Lead the development of frontend components specifically for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) experiments, ensuring precise implementation of tracking and analytics
• Utilize CRO tools such as Optimizely in conjunction with complex frontend systems to build and deploy A/B tests and other experimental components
• Create and maintain advanced reusable frontend components and libraries, promoting efficiency and consistency across our applications
• Ensure the high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of web applications across various devices and browsers
• Champion responsive design principles and implement best practices in CSS architecture
• Actively research, evaluate, and introduce new frontend technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance our development processes and product capabilities
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across engineering teams
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and high-quality solutions
• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to established standards
