Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript
  • Experience in managing frontend engineers or teams
  • Experience in developing single-page applications with modern frameworks
  • Understanding of industry trends and web standards
  • At least 5 years of proven experience developing web or cross-platform applications

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and support frontend engineers through regular feedback, career development, and performance reviews
  • Define and advocate for best practices in architecture, code quality, testing, performance, and accessibility
  • Drive consistency and reusability via shared systems, component libraries, and tooling
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, including technical research and adoption of new technologies
  • Foster a strong engineering culture through knowledge sharing and team collaboration
  • Guide technical decisions to ensure scalable and maintainable frontend solutions
  • Align frontend strategy with broader engineering and product goals
  • Continuously evolve frontend practices to meet changing business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of TypeScript
  • Experience with Vue or React (preferred)
  • Experience with React Native (Expo)
  • Experience with Cordova and/or Electron
  • Experience with other JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Backbone, Marionette)
