Summary
Join RYZ Labs as a Full Stack Engineer and play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling an AI-driven medical coding platform. You will work across the full stack, from front-end development to backend APIs and data models. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to define technical architecture, shape the product roadmap, and collaborate with the CTO. You will contribute to a fast-paced, remote environment, requiring strong communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of full-stack software development experience with typed languages and proficiency in modern frontend and backend technologies. Healthcare domain knowledge or HIPAA compliance experience is a plus.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience in a production environment with typed languages (e.g. Typescript, Go, C#, Java)
- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js ) and backend technologies/frameworks (e.g., Node.js , NestJS, , or similar)
- Experience designing and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of web application architecture, RESTful API design, and performance optimization
- Comfort in a fast-paced, remote environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate across teams
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust, secure, and scalable web applications using modern full stack technologies
- Build and maintain clean and efficient backend APIs and their supporting database schemas to support healthcare workflows
- Implement integrations with 3rd party APIs
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate intelligent features into the product
- Ensure code quality and reliability through strong testing and code review practices
- Optimize application performance and security in accordance with HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance standards
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Leadership) to translate clinical and business needs into exceptional product experiences
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of our technical architecture and development processes
- Actively participate in video calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas effectively
