Full Stack Java Developer

Summary

Join a growing Canadian software company as a full-stack developer for a 3-month contract (potentially extendable) focusing on Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting, Business Intelligence, and Sales Performance Management. The role is remote and requires 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, knowledge of Object Oriented design concepts and design patterns, strong technical and business aptitude, client-focused communication skills, and eligibility to work in Canada.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing in Java/J2EE (Java 8+) and knowledge of Object Oriented design concepts and design patterns
• Ideally have worked in the SaaS space (B2B, B2C)
• Independent, willing to learn, strong technical and business aptitude
• Client-focused, strong communication
• Based in Canada and authorized to work there
• 3+ years experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot framework
• Experience in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript libraries (e.g., React, Node, Typescript)
• Experience with Web service technologies such as REST, JSON
• Knowledge of SQL

Responsibilities

Full stack software development that leans on the back-end (Java 8+/Spring Boot), it's ideal if you have some Javascript/Typescript experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to GenAI and LLM’s is a nice to have
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development or Domain Driven Development
• Consulting Experience is a plus

Benefits

• 3 month contract to start (that may get extended)
• Rate: $70-80/hr
