Full Stack Java Developer

Requirements

• Have 5+ years of related work experience
• Have professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
• Have experience migrating a Java app to REACT
• Work directly with application users to troubleshoot issues
• Have full-stack Java experience (mix of both front-end and back-end)
• Have experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol, as well as change management procedures
• Demonstrate organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Be a flexible team player
• Manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
• Demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills
• Communicate technical information clearly and articulately

• Have an in-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle
• Have proficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language; React.Js, Node.JS, JavaScript, and HTML
• Have proficiency with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, local storage, and cross-browser compatibility
• Have experience with modern web/UI development tools and techniques: Node, Webpack, Grunt/Gulp, GIT, Axios, Jest
• Be proficient using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio
• Have solid knowledge of DOM manipulation and client-side validation
• Have solid knowledge with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries
• Have high critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
• Have solid knowledge of React and Redux principals and build out
• Have a related Bachelor’s degree or related work experience

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and code Information Technology solutions
• Document detailed system specifications
• Participate in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications
• Evaluate and perform testing of purchased products
• Include IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the application and data processed or output by the application
• Lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers

• Have experience with Python
