Full Stack Software Engineer

Summary

Join Raketech, a leading iGaming affiliate and performance marketing company, as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer. This role requires a passionate and quick-thinking individual with solid experience in full-stack development using PHP/Vue.JS/TypeScript. You will develop new features, maintain existing software, participate in design discussions, and stay updated on best practices. Success involves improving platform usability and performance, introducing new features, and ensuring high-quality results. The ideal candidate is a team player comfortable in a hybrid, remote-first environment and possesses strong communication skills.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
• At least 3 years of experience in either front-end development using VueJS and JavaScript/TypeScript or back-end development with PHP/Laravel, and a willingness to learn and work on the other
• Experience in designing and building REST APIs
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and database design and querying best practices in general
• Experience in working with docker and containers
• Passionate about self-improvement and web technologies
• Experience with performance measurement and optimisation
• Experience in working with agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to address change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways
• Available to work +/- 2 CET

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and address maintenance and continuous improvement of existing software with a strong focus on maintainability and quality
• Participate in discussions about designing new components and services that integrate with internal and external services, as well as their implementation
• Stay updated about the latest best code practices and apply them In your day-to-day tasks
• Be proactive on how we can improve and automate processes and improve the satisfaction of our internal and external users
• Improve usability and performance of the platform for our Product Teams
• Introduce new features that facilitate site migration and creation on the platform

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the architectural concept of microservices
