Full Stack Web Developer

Summary

Join SMASH, a tech talent agency connecting professionals in Costa Rica and Colombia with US companies. We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer with a strong front-end focus, proficient in React, Next.js, and JavaScript. This remote position requires experience building modern web applications and collaborating with design and product teams. Experience with back-end technologies, particularly Golang, is a plus. Requirements

• Proven experience with React and Next.js
• Strong understanding of vanilla JavaScript and front-end architecture
• Experience with back-end development (Golang preferred, but not required)
• Familiarity with MongoDB and MySQL
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end features using React, Next.js, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with design and product teams to build user-friendly, performant web interfaces
• Contribute to back-end development, ideally using Golang, or other server-side technologies
• Work with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL
• Participate in code reviews and agile development processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Golang or willingness to learn
• Familiarity with full-stack application deployment and performance optimization
