Fullstack AI Engineer

Join airSlate's DocHub team as a Fullstack AI Engineer and contribute to the growth of our Google-integrated PDF editor and signature solution. You will build and optimize scalable features using Ruby on Rails and Vue.js, collaborate on front-end migration, and work with AI technologies like prompt engineering, RAG, and LLM optimization. The role requires three years of experience with Ruby, Rails, and AWS, proficiency with databases and SQL, and experience with APIs. Requirements

• Three years working with Ruby, Rails, and AWS in a professional environment
• Proficiency with databases and SQL
• Experience building and consuming APIs
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks
• Communicates proactively, concisely, and in a timely manner
• Evaluates multiple methods/approaches to deliver the best result
• Proactively communicates task status in a timely manner; listens and confirms understanding of requests or asks for clarifications where needed

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable features using Ruby on Rails
• Build front-end features using Vue.js, Ember.js, and Tailwind CSS
• Collaborate on our front-end migration from Ember.js to Vue.js
• Prompt Engineering: Craft and refine prompts to optimize AI responses and outputs
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Combine retrieval mechanisms with generative models to improve information accuracy and relevance
• Customize pre-trained models to better fit specific tasks and applications
• Optimizing LLM Inference: Improve performance through techniques like quantization, distillation, and caching
• AI Agent Orchestration: Implement frameworks to manage multi-step AI workflows
