Fullstack Developer Senior

Summary

Join Encora's dynamic team as a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications. This full-time, work-from-home position in Brazil requires proficiency in backend Java and Java Spring Boot, along with solid front-end experience (React preferred). Responsibilities include developing new features, maintaining existing applications, and performing code reviews. Experience with automated testing, Typescript, GraphQL, microservices, and AWS services is essential. Agile development experience is also required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Backend Java and Java Spring Boot
• Experience with automated testing in Java (e.g. Unit Test, Integration Test, etc.)
• Solid Front-end development experience, especially with React (or any other SPA)
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with Microservices Architecture
• Experience with modeling, producing and consuming web services-based APIs (RESTful or SOAP based)
• Experience using AWS services
• Experience with agile development

Responsibilities

• Development of new features
• Maintenance of existing applications
• Raise and discuss trade-offs of different design approaches elaborating detailed design documents
• Implement solution from coding to testing to production deployment support
• Perform code reviews

Preferred Qualifications

• Good knowledge on relational and non-relational databases, be able to work with Postgres and MongoDB
• Familiarity with Message Brokers (RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, etc)
• Practical understanding of Git or similar VCS, CI/CD practices, with a preference for GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Utilization of monitoring tools such as Sumo Logic, New Relic, Datadog, or equivalent solutions for troubleshooting and logging
