Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join 1047 Games, a remote company creating a new shooter in the Splitgate universe. We're looking for a passionate engineer who loves tackling challenging technical problems and is a dedicated gamer. You'll build and develop web applications, own a game live operations platform, and collaborate with engineering teams. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and 4+ years of software development experience are required, with a frontend focus preferred. Expertise in Typescript and React, along with strong proficiency in Next.js, is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of software development experience, frontend focus preferred
• Expert in Typescript and React or similar frontend framework
• Strong proficiency with Next.js
• Working knowledge of backend service development in C#, Node.js, Go, or similar

Responsibilities

• Build and develop both player facing and internal web applications
• Take ownership of a sophisticated game live operations platform and drive forward its architecture and feature set
• Work closely with other engineering teams and internal stakeholders to translate product requirements into powerful capabilities for the organization
• Have plenty of opportunity to work on any aspect of our technology stack, infrastructure, or backend services if you'd like!

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in distributed system architectures is preferred
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platform providers is preferred
• A desire to take on team leadership and mentorship responsibilities
