Remote Full-Stack Engineer

Summary

Join DoiT, a global technology company, as a Full Stack Software Engineer and contribute to enhancing our Cloud Management Platform. This remote role, based in EMEA (UK, Ireland, Israel, Estonia, or Spain), involves implementing new features, reviewing code, improving the codebase, and providing feedback. You will collaborate with product managers and developers. The position requires 4+ years of software development experience, strong front-end skills, and experience with design thinking principles. A solid understanding of programming languages, ideally React, is essential. While advantageous, experience with Go, cloud solutions, and a BA/BS degree are not mandatory. Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Be a Full Stack engineer (with strong Front-end skills) or a Front-end engineer with a desire to learn to become a Full Stack engineer
• Experience with applying design thinking principles to frontend development
• Solid understanding of programming languages, ideally knowledge of the React framework
• Embrace continuous development and learning
• Knowledge of software engineering practices
• Demonstrated passion for creating high-quality web/SaaS apps
• Experience with Git/GitHub
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Be a self-organized, Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenacious
• Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment

Responsibilities

• Implement features from proposal, through specification and implementation, to maintenance. Propose additions to products
• Review code and pull requests
• Improve the health of the codebase, dedicating one day per week to housekeeping
• Provide feedback to the team, identifying challenges and unknowns early

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Go programming language
• Experience developing solutions in the Cloud, and/or using Cloud services
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with Google Cloud or AWS services from a production environment
