Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service company, as a remote Fullstack Engineer based in Latin America. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, working with senior team members and collaborating on system-level decisions. Responsibilities include code reviews, writing unit and integration tests, creating documentation, and working in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Python experience, relational database experience (preferably SQL Server or PostgreSQL), and experience with modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. The salary range is $2,000-$2,800 USD per month, and the position is for an independent contractor.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience using Python as the primary backend language
• Experience working with relational databases, preferably SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js (you will be working with a combination of Ember and React)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, features, and systems
• Work with senior team members to ensure your designs and implementations follow architectural guidelines and best practices
• Participate in architectural design, contribute to system-level decisions, and ensure the scalability, security, and performance of software solutions
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the team
• Collaborate with others to solve complex technical challenges
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability
• Create technical documentation for software components as needed
• Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously bring innovation to the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience strongly preferred
• Experience with NodeJS is a Plus

• The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,000- $2,800 per month, depending on seniority and skillset
