Remote Senior Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Fullstack Developer! We are looking for an experienced professional with at least 6 years of experience in software development. Proficiency in at least two of the following programming languages is required: Scala, Groovy, Kotlin, or Java. Hands-on experience with AWS is essential. The ideal candidate will be located in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Chile, Uruguay, or Peru. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable fullstack applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and utilizing AWS services.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development
• Be proficient in at least two of the following programming languages: Scala, Groovy, Kotlin, or Java
• Have strong experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
• Have a solid understanding of frontend technologies and frameworks
• Have experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Have familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Be located in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Chile, Uruguay, or Peru

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust fullstack applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Implement backend services and APIs using Scala, Groovy, Kotlin, or Java
• Develop frontend components and ensure seamless integration with backend services
• Utilize AWS services to deploy and manage applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve existing solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Have knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Have familiarity with microservices architecture
• Have an understanding of DevOps practices
