Full-Stack Engineer

Summary

Join poolside, a company building AI-driven software development tools, as a developer focused on creating scalable product experiences. You will design and implement products for developers using our multi-tenant cloud and single-tenant enterprise platform. Your mission is to deliver a scalable poolside product experience by building IDE and web application experiences. You will work with designers and leverage our LLM to augment developer capabilities. The role requires experience building reactive applications and familiarity with backend development, APIs, and developer experience tools. Requirements

• Experience building reactive applications (React, Svelte, Vue) that work across multiple platforms and that are highly interactive
• Comfortable with back-end development
• Design back-end APIs
• Expose and use rest endpoints
• Experience with developer experience tools
• Worked on CI/CD pipelines
• Worked with containerization
• Experience with testing code
• Unit testing
• Integration testing
• Test performance optimization
• Experience in either React, Vue, Typescript (we're open to people from other languages)
• Experience with DevOps tools: Git, Docker, Webpack, npm
• Experience with Monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Datadog)
• Experience with feature flagging mechanisms (Launchdarkly)

Responsibilities

• Build end-user products (editor extensions, and web applications) that use poolside platform API, allowing the use of the LLM (Large Language Model) to augment developers capabilities
• Work with our designers to better understand what is the next set of experiments that can unblock additional capabilities from our foundational model

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Electron or similar cross OS shells
• Knowledge of Node.js, Python or Go
