Fullstack Engineer

Summary

Join roadsurfer as a Fullstack Engineer and help build features for their campervan booking platform, Spots. You will build responsive user interfaces using React, evolve the frontend architecture, collaborate with backend and mobile developers, integrate with APIs, and contribute to backend development (PHP/Symfony). The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-stack experience with React and Symfony (Vue.js is a plus), a strong grasp of modular architecture, and proficiency in SQL. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Full-stack development, ideally with React and Symfony (Vue.js is a plus)
• Strong grasp of modular architecture, clean code, and testing
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with relational databases (e.g. MySQL)
• Comfortable refactoring legacy code and reducing complexity
• Independent, ownership-driven working style
• Thoughtful and pragmatic - you dig deep to understand problems but keep solutions simple
• Fluent in English and a collaborative team player

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using React
• Help evolve and maintain our frontend architecture and tooling
• Collaborate with backend and mobile developers to ship seamless, end-to-end features
• Integrate with APIs and help to shape them
• Contribute to backend development (PHP/Symfony) where needed to support product delivery
• Champion clean code, testing, and documentation across both frontend and backend codebases
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Experience with Pimcore and/or CoreShop
