Requirements

• 4+ years experience with JavaScript
• 4+ years experience with Java
• 5+ years experience in web development
• 5+ years experience with basic web technologies (HTML/CSS)
• 4+ years experience with React
• 6+ years experience with RESTful api design and implementation
• 4+ years experience with node.js
• 4+ years experience with relational databases
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience with a TypeScript schema declaration library such as Zod or Yup
• Experience with npm/yarn
• Experience with Webpack and Babel
• Understanding of asset deployment strategies
• Experience with code versioning systems (Git, SVN)
• Understanding of CRUD/REST principles

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex back-end systems to support the entire platform
• Ensure back-end stability and performance during the team's migration to new tools
• Create new solutions from scratch and build that solution throughout all phases from production to support
• Groom business requirements into technical action items

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ElasticSearch
• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Experience working with AWS
• Knowledge about the principles of Redux
• Experience working with Docker
• Experience using styled-components
• Experience writing tests (unit/integration/e2e etc.)
