Summary

Join Sardine, a leader in fraud prevention and AML compliance, as a Fullstack Software Engineer on the Dashboard team. Build and maintain scalable dashboard features using React, Typescript, Go, and PostgresSQL. Design and implement backend services, dataflows, and APIs for customer-facing UIs. Develop tools to help analysts detect and act on suspicious behavior. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers. Take ownership of your work from concept to deployment. Communicate effectively with global teammates. This remote-first role, based in India, offers flexible hours (2 PM to 10 PM IST) and a competitive compensation package.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience, ideally in startup or high-growth environments
  • Proven full stack development experience, with proficiency in Go, Node.js, or other server-side languages
  • Strong experience building RESTful APIs and web services
  • Deep understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
  • Experience working with React, Typescript, and other modern frontend frameworks
  • A track record of building and shipping high-quality user-facing products
  • A user-first, product oriented mindset with a strong sense of empathy and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance dashboard features using React, Typescript, Go, and PostgresSQL
  • Design and implement backend services, dataflows, and APIs that power customer-facing UIs
  • Design and implement tools that help analysts quickly detect and take action on suspicious behavior
  • Drive high standards for code quality through code reviews, testing, and documentation
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
  • Take ownership of your work from concept to deployment, ensuring a smooth user experience
  • Communicate effectively with global teammates to stay aligned on goals, priorities, and timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data pipelines or event-driven workflows
  • Background in fintech, banking, or fraud/compliance domains
