Fullstack Software Engineer in United States

Summary

Stronghold is a fintech company that aims to improve financial access through payment and financial services solutions. They are seeking an experienced software engineer to join their engineering team and contribute to the development of their payments API platform and cryptocurrency. The engineer will work closely with product management and customer-facing teams, have autonomy in designing and developing solutions, and collaborate with the engineering team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience developing software on a team
• Proficient in languages such as Go, .NET, Rust, Node.js, or Python
• Experience building and maintaining APIs open to external developers
• Knowledgeable of existing frameworks and open source tools
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or an equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop Stronghold's Platform APIs for payment problems using Go, .Net, Rust, Node.js, or Python
• Be involved with all aspects of the development process for Platform projects
• Design new Platform functionality with corresponding APIs for external developers
• Receive, prioritize, and help solve technical problems from Stronghold's Platform API customer base
• Collaborate with the Stronghold engineering team on code review and design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building frontend user interfaces or architecting large, single page web applications using frameworks such as React
• Familiarity with blockchain/distributed ledger technology, such as Ethereum, Ripple, Stellar, or Solana
