Functional Consultant

Summary

Join our team as an SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) Functional Consultant! This role requires German proficiency and focuses on PRA/GPA/JVA/PSA implementation for an Oil and Gas client. You will leverage your deep JVA and PSA expertise in the upstream finance workstream. The position involves 80% remote work with 20% travel to Hamburg, Germany. Responsibilities include documenting JVA/PSA module designs, building and testing solutions, collaborating with various teams, mitigating risks, assisting with cutover and deployment, providing hypercare support, knowledge transfer, and managing user stories. The ideal candidate possesses extensive JVA and PSA experience within the Oil and Gas industry.

Requirements

• Deep Joint Venture Accounting knowledge and business experience in Oil & Gas: JVA
• Production Sharing Accounting: PSA
• MUST SPEAK GERMAN

Responsibilities

• Document design for JVA/PSA modules
• Build and test the solution as part of the larger R2R and Polaris solution
• Work with related functions such as testing, data, and training/OCM to enable and deliver the solution
• Assist with pro-active risk mitigation of the solutions including identifying co-engineering opportunities, working with SAP product teams, and SAP product support teams
• Assist with the cutover and deployment of the capabilities in Deployment 2 Release 1, and Deployment 2, Release 2
• Assist customer in Hypercare
• Transfer project knowledge to customer
• Be able to manage User Stories in customer ADO (Kanban board)
