Summary

Join Epic Games as a Game Design Intern to work on quests and implementation for the Season Team in Fortnite's Festival. You will build out and test seasonal content, learn about source control and project management, and pitch your ideas to product owners.

Requirements

• Familiar with the basics of game design
• Experience working in a game engine with a preference for Unreal
• A proactive self-starter who has a hunger to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for developing games
• Familiar with Fortnite ecosystem

Responsibilities

• Work with the Fortnite Festival Season Team to design quest content
• Implement designed quests in engine and directly into the Fortnite project
• Test your quests to make sure they are up to Epic standards
• Learn about source control at Epic like Perforce
• Learn about project management at Epic and more specifically Jira
• Pitch your ideas to product owners
• Join in with the team for collaborative work and social play
