Gameplay Programmer Intern

Summary

Join Epic Games as a Gameplay Programmer Intern and work closely with game designers and artists to deliver fun, new musical experiences to our players. In this role, you will optimize and fix bugs in existing gameplay features, playtest and contribute ideas toward all aspects of the game's production and development, write robust, maintainable C++ code, expand your knowledge of Unreal Engine, gameplay programming, and game development, and ship new code and features in Fortnite.

Requirements

• Strong C++ knowledge
• Passionate about game development and Fortnite
• Knowledge of 3D Math & Linear Algebra
• Exceptional communication skills and experience working within a team
• A growth mindset and a focus on learning
• Able to react and respond effectively to coding feedback
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine
• Interest in music and music games

Responsibilities
