General Agency Sales Representative

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus
• An active Property & Casualty (P&C) personal lines license is a must
• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others succeed

Responsibilities

• Be the voice of guidance—engage with prospective clients through inbound/outbound calls and email to deliver personalized insurance solutions
• Provide exceptional service for non-Horace Mann products, ensuring each client feels heard, supported, and protected
• Build meaningful relationships with agents and clients, becoming a trusted resource across email, phone, and web
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to process quotes and applications accurately and efficiently
• Manage the full sales cycle— bind policies , secure documentation and signatures, and ensure timely payment processing
• Track, measure, and report on performance metrics to maintain high service and compliance standards
• Apply your sales savvy to meet and exceed production goals , while delivering an outstanding customer experience every time

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or call center environments is highly preferred
