Right Side Up works with leading brands to optimize their representation and discovery in AI-powered platforms. The company is pioneering a new approach to organic customer acquisition and reputation shaping, known as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience, ideally with some time spent in the Generative AI space coupled with relevant adjacencies (SEO, digital visibility, content, Affiliate Marketing), with a hunger to push beyond traditional tactics
- Strong understanding of the evolving AI/search ecosystem: how LLMs retrieve and prioritize content, the decline of organic links in SERPs, etc
- Ability to build frameworks, tools, and structured programs that enable delivery teams to succeed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills β able to codify strategy clearly and compellingly
- Comfort operating in a high-growth, ambiguous, and fast-moving environment
- A passion for shaping new categories and leading where the market is headed
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine frameworks for success in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), including content strategy and development, authority mapping, and AI search visibility
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure client work aligns with evolving strategic principles
- Lead internal knowledge-building: train, support, and mentor contributors working across GEO / AEO programs in tandem with the Founder/GM
- Stay deeply informed about industry trends and how platforms like Google, Reddit, ChatGPT, and Perplexity index and surface content, and how to influence those systems effectively
- Identify gaps in current approaches and build solutions that scale, including tools, templates, or strategic guidelines
- Over time, support the Founder/GM in thought leadership, event participation, and market presence. This could include activities like authoring articles, participating in or leading webinars, etc
- Track and synthesize changes in platform behavior (SERPs, LLMs, ranking signals, etc.) to inform both client strategy and market messaging
