Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Expertise in Generative AI, including diffusion models, LoRA, and advanced training methodologies
• Proven ability to translate research concepts into practical prototypes and solutions
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills to guide complex projects from ideation to implementation
• Hands-on experience with research, implementation, and scaling of AI models for practical applications, particularly in areas such as computer vision, VTON, or similar domains
• Familiarity with the latest advancements in AI research and the ability to analyze, critique, and apply research papers in practical settings
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with other programming languages commonly used in AI research
• Strong understanding of neural network architectures, optimization techniques, and model evaluation strategies
• Ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory research to evaluate and replicate state-of-the-art Generative AI techniques, focusing on diffusion models, LoRA, and other advanced methodologies
• Develop and optimize novel models for fashion-specific applications, such as VTON, sketch-to-image generation, and material fidelity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research outcomes with product goals and ensure real-world applicability
• Design and train models using large-scale datasets, creating scalable solutions for deployment
• Work closely with academic institutions and research labs to integrate cutting-edge insights into applied AI development
• Publish research findings and contribute to advancing Centric’s reputation in the AI domain
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AI engineers, product managers, and designers, to integrate your research into practical, deployable solutions that add value to the company’s product offerings
• Contribute to the scientific community by publishing research in top-tier conferences and journals and share findings with internal teams to foster knowledge transfer and innovation
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concept models to test the feasibility of new ideas and evaluate their performance against industry benchmarks and real-world scenarios
• Continuously optimize generative models and workflows to achieve faster processing times, higher output quality, and improved user experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Proven track record of research, with publications in top-tier conferences and journals (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, etc.) is a plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 158,000 - $250,000 + benefits
