Summary

Join KoBold, a leading mineral exploration company, as their Geoscience Recruiter. This full-cycle recruiting role focuses on sourcing and closing specialized geophysical talent, including geologists and geophysicists. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will proactively identify talent, translate job specifications into effective sourcing strategies, and provide an exceptional candidate experience. You will also advise senior executives on talent strategy, report pipeline performance, and support hiring managers. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for niche technical talent and a demonstrated ability to quickly absorb complex information. A prior career position as a scientist or a science degree is strongly preferred. This remote position offers a competitive salary and is open to candidates in the US or Canada.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting for niche technical talent
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb and synthesize complex information, with a track record of high intellectual rigor in a professional setting
  • Exceptional curiosity and eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to exploring new concepts and technologies

Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically seek to learn about the business, what our colleagues are doing in their roles, and what makes someone great at KoBold
  • Proactively identify and tap into key sources of talent, and find creative ways to source candidates beyond traditional channels
  • Translate a deep understanding of job specifications into exquisite sourcing to fill top-of-the-funnel, as demonstrated by conversion rates across interview stages
  • Provide an exceptional experience throughout the hiring process, as demonstrated by low withdrawal rates
  • Proactively surface issues in the hiring process to the company’s senior executives for quick resolution, as demonstrated by time-to-fill rates
  • Masterfully articulate the value proposition of becoming an employee and equity holder at KoBold, as demonstrated by offer acceptance rates
  • Serve as a talent market expert by educating our internal staff on market dynamics and recruitment strategies
  • Advise the senior executives of the company on talent strategy
  • Reliably and effectively report pipeline performance to stakeholders on a consistent cadence
  • Support hiring managers in prioritizing recruiting and hiring team’s time across concurrent openings
  • Serve as a talent market expert by educating our internal staff on market dynamics and recruitment strategies
  • Coordinate offer details with HR, our Founders, and the hiring manager
  • Contribute to our overarching recruiting processes and philosophies

Preferred Qualifications

A prior career position as a scientist, or degree in science, is strongly preferred
