German Language Tutor

Join IXL Learning's Rosetta Stone Language Tutor Team as a German Language Tutor! This fully remote, part-time position offers the opportunity to facilitate engaging online tutoring sessions for learners of all levels. You will deliver high-quality instruction, provide constructive feedback, and adapt sessions to meet individual needs. The ideal candidate is a native German speaker with a Bachelor's degree and experience in teaching or tutoring. Strong technology proficiency and exceptional communication skills are essential. This role requires a flexible schedule to accommodate shifts between 3-6 am ET, Monday-Friday, with a commitment of 10-15 hours per week. Requirements

• Native German speaker
• Proven flexibility in schedule to meet the hours outlined in the above overview
• Completion of Bachelor's degree
• Must be comfortable with technology and have access to broadband Internet from a personal computer (Wired internet connection required)
• Candidates must be able to work 10-15 hours weekly
• Shifts are from Monday to Friday between 3-6 am Eastern Time

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions in all products offered by Live Coaching
• Prepare and adapt sessions to meet the needs of learners
• Provide constructive feedback to learners for areas of improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching and/or tutoring experience preferred (familiarity with Rosetta Stone platforms desired)
• Strong proficiency with technology and online platform experience with web conferencing solutions preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, ability to teach grammar concepts
• Exceptional presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
