Summary
Join our team as a GIS Analyst Help Desk Support contractor! This mid-level position offers remote work and requires excellent verbal communication and technical skills. You will provide support to the GIS Unit, serving as a primary resource for the help desk. Responsibilities include communicating with customers, troubleshooting technical problems, documenting issues in ServiceNow, and assigning tickets to other teams. The role requires proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, GIS analysis, customer service, and familiarity with linear referencing and ArcGIS Online. This is a 12+ month contract position located in Raleigh, NC.
Requirements
- Utilize ArcGIS Pro
- Perform GIS analysis
- Provide excellent customer service
- Demonstrate familiarity with linear referencing solutions
- Demonstrate familiarity with ArcGIS Online
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills in customer service situations
- Have 2 years of experience with ArcGIS Pro
- Have 2 years of experience with ArcGIS Online
- Have 1 year of experience writing tickets within enterprise ticketing systems like ServiceNow or similar
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent verbal communication and technical assistance and support to the GIS Unit
- Serve as a primary resource for the GIS Unit help desk
- Actively engage in communicating directly with customers
- Gather intelligence related to customer complaints
- Troubleshoot technical problems
- Document problems in ServiceNow
- Assign tickets to other GIS Unit teams
