Summary

The job is for a GIS Analyst Intern who will perform geospatial analysis to identify and analyze sites for grid-scale energy storage opportunities. This temporary position runs from Fall 2024 and offers valuable experience in the energy sector.

Requirements

• Required understanding of GIS software (ESRI products a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver time-pressured projects punctually and with high quality
• Passionate about the renewable energy space and confident in their work product

Responsibilities

• GIS Data Analysis: Dive into wide-ranging geospatial datasets encompassing land use, land ownership, environmental factors, and electrical transmission systems
• Support the Lead GIS Analyst in ArcGIS online web development, Site Diligence and Desktop Analysis, Permitting, Project Layout Exhibits and Land Options
• Engage in cross-team collaboration to support Key Capture Energy’s development and commercial pipeline
• Assist team and project leads as directed
• Interact effectively in-person, by electronic communication and by telephone
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Contribute to a positive work environment
• Perform other duties as required
