GIS React.JS Developer

Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing public access to critical information through innovative web applications. As a Geospatial Developer, you will collaborate with team members to enhance and maintain user-friendly web applications for The U.S. Geological Survey and The National Map.

Requirements

• Must hold bachelor’s degree in a content related field
• Must have 5 or more years of experience in dynamic front-end systems development with a focus on the customer experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with Python, Javascript, and preferably, experience with React.JS in creating visually appealing web products
• Previous experience with Geospatial Data handling, related industry standard applications such as ArcGIS and/or GDAL

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in the exciting world of geospatial technology
• Collaborate with team members to enhance and maintain user-friendly web applications for The U.S. Geological Survey and The National Map
• Work extensively with React.JS and Javascript to improve functionality and presentation, ensuring that our tools are effective and visually engaging for users
• Develop and refine scripted processes that streamline data handling, allowing us to deliver accurate and timely information to the public
