Global Head of Cyber Security Operations

Summary

The job description is for a Global Head of Security Operations at Rackspace Technology. The role involves leading the Public Cloud Cyber Defense Center (RCDC), providing leadership to managers and senior staff, and delivering customer outcomes and meeting business objectives. The preferred candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, preferably a Master’s degree in business administration or a technical field, and previous experience running a Global SOC function.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Preferred: Master’s degree in business administration or a technical field

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction through managers, senior managers and senior professional staff
• Lead collaboration across departments and sometimes the division to develop and implement strategies that are tied to the achievement of divisional and company objectives
• Accountable for performance and results of multiple related teams globally across shifts that provide technical solutions, cyber security services, deploy security related applications, manage security policy, as well as architect both logical and hardware infrastructure for customer environments
• Execute business plans and contributes to the development of sub-functional strategy

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience of running a Global SOC function (shared customer and dedicated customer environments)

• The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $143,700 - $210,760
• The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $153,000 - $224,400
• The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City and Washington is: $167,400 - $245,520
