Global Outplacement Coach

Summary

Join Careerminds, a rapidly growing global provider of virtual outplacement services, as a 1099 contract career coach. This fully remote role involves providing individual and group career development and job search consulting to outplacement participants. You will guide participants through the coaching process, advise on career transitions, and coach on resume writing, interviewing, and networking. The position requires expertise in career development, business experience, virtual coaching skills, and excellent communication abilities. A high-speed internet connection and proficiency with various technology tools are essential.

Requirements

• Expertise in Career Development including Career Planning, branding, resume development, interviewing, networking, social networking, internet job search, etc
• Minimum of 3-5 years of business experience and understanding of organizational structures, cultures, and decision-making processes
• Expertise in virtual coaching delivery, and savvy with technology
• A high-speed internet connection on a personal computer with reliable audio/video will be required. Must be comfortable using video conferencing tools, instant messenger tools (such as slack) and booking links
• Excellent communications, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Excellent capacity to work with a wide variety of individuals from varied educational and socio-economic backgrounds
• Excellent listener; must possess strong empathy and sensitivity to emotional reactions
• Must be self-motivated and self-directed

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with participants and motivate them to achieve goals
• Guide participants through the coaching process and milestone completion
• Advise and coach on career development, transition issues, and career options
• Coach on résumé writing, effective marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiating
• Document the service delivery record in the Career Management System (CMS) for each employee serviced, according to our pre- and post-engagement guidelines
• Deliver other transition-related programs at the direction of a Manager

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree, specialized certifications, and/or higher degrees
