Requirements
- Extensive experience in product management, sales, or marketing within the cooling water treatment industry, ideally in Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM)
- Proven track record in creating and executing strategic visions for product lines, including lifecycle management and profitability analysis
- Strong understanding of cooling system chemistry, water treatment technologies, and monitoring systems
- Experience in developing and managing chemical treatment products
- Success in leading cross-functional teams to develop and launch new solutions
- Outstanding communication abilities, with experience presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences
- Experience working with diverse, global teams in the water treatment sector
- Commercial acumen - ideally built within the cooling water treatment business - including pricing strategies and market positioning
- In-depth knowledge of global customers and competitors in the cooling water treatment industry
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental considerations
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the global cooling product line strategy and vision
- Chair the product line global centre of excellence (COE)
- Engage with customers and industry to gather market intelligence
- Manage ROI for core projects and investments
- Govern projects and product management KPIs
- Own NPI projects and present at growth boards
- Support product launch processes and marketing collateral development
- Contribute to price book setting and margin improvement initiatives
- Drive direct material productivity improvement and cost optimisation
- Ensure EHS and ethical standards are maintained
Preferred Qualifications
Ideally a degree or equivalent industry experience in chemical engineering, chemistry, or MBA
