Gmat/Gre Tutor

Summary

Join TPAPT, a national consortium of over 12,000 local tutors, and become a GMAT/GRE Tutor! This part-time position offers flexible hours, primarily in afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with pay starting at $100/hour. Successful candidates will undergo an initial training and probationary period. The role includes excellent compensation, regular tutor development meetings, and support. Beyond tutoring, opportunities in curriculum development and tutor training are available. Requirements

• Have experience tutoring all sections of the GMAT and GRE
• Achieve a score of 750+ on the “Classic” GMAT, 705+ on the current GMAT, or 333+ on the GRE (proof required)
• Commit to at least one year of assignments
• Be available and willing to tutor 10 to 20 hours per week
• Possess great teaching instincts and the ability to explain concepts in various ways
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students
• Exhibit a compassionate/understanding attitude and great perceptive ability
• Show a willingness to learn new tutoring methods and approaches
• Display a collaborative spirit and willingness to share new ideas to improve other tutors

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in all sections of the GMAT and GRE
• Participate in initial training on GMAT/GRE instruction
• Successfully complete a probationary period with limited assignments
• Attend regular "tutor development" meetings
• Potentially participate in curriculum development and tutor training

• Commit to staying on board for at least a few years
