Summary

Join Del Oro Consulting as a Golang Developer for an ongoing remote contract! This role requires expertise in Golang, ETL processes, web scraping, and database management. You will design, develop, and maintain Golang services, optimize data pipelines, and troubleshoot technical issues. Experience with AI/ML and cloud platforms (AWS preferred) is highly desired. Requirements

• Possess a strong understanding of Golang programming with experience in object-relational mapping (ORM) libraries and best practices
• Have experience in building ETL processes and document processing solutions using Golang
• Have proven experience in web scraping and data extraction, utilizing industry-standard tools and frameworks
• Have hands-on experience with NoSQL data stores, including MongoDB, and experience with database update processes
• Possess knowledge of AI/ML concepts and cloud platforms like AWS, with the ability to integrate them into solutions
• Have exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to technical challenges
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment
• Have an eagerness to learn and stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Have proven experience as a software developer with a focus on Golang

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in architectural design, contributing to the overall technical vision and strategy
• Write and maintain Golang services focused on ETL processes, document processing, and database updates to support data-driven applications
• Develop and maintain web scraping tools and data processing scripts, ensuring efficient and reliable data extraction and transformation
• Build and optimize web scraping solutions and data processing pipelines to manage information effectively
• Develop high-quality, well-structured Golang code, prioritizing clarity, efficiency, and maintainability
• Collaborate with the team to conceptualize, develop, and enhance features that improve system performance and scalability
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical challenges and performance issues in a timely manner
• Research and incorporate emerging technologies and best practices to enhance project capabilities and efficiency
