GPU Fabric and Performance Engineer

Join Vultr's Engineering team as a GPU Fabric and Performance Engineer and contribute to our mission of providing high-performance cloud computing. You will work with cutting-edge technology, designing and implementing GPU fabric networks, automating systems, defining performance expectations, and collaborating with various teams. This role requires experience with large-scale GPU clusters, hardware maintenance, performance tuning, and scalable GPU fabric solutions. Requirements

• Experience with large-scale GPU clusters
• Experience maintaining hardware for server and networking infrastructure
• Experience performance tuning for AI inference and training workloads
• Experience designing and implementing scalable GPU fabric solutions
• Proficient in Linux
• Expertise in automation tooling and frameworks

Responsibilities

• Work with cutting-edge technology to provide highly performant GPU clusters to our customers
• Work with network engineering to design and implement GPU fabric (InfiniBand and RoCE) networks
• Engage with our platform teams to provide reliable automation for onboarding and offboarding systems within the cluster
• Define performance expectations and provide tooling to validate performance
• Engage with the team on best practices for implementing GPU clusters, and performance tuning both at the hardware and OS layer
• Work with solutions engineers to provide training on our systems to improve our user experience and engagement
