Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation
  • FE/EIT Certification
  • Up to four years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D and MS Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel, including occasional overnight trips

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD
  • Perform calculations for project dimensions and elevations
  • Compute and tabulate quantities
  • Conduct preliminary surveys and construction administration
  • Contribute to runway, taxiway, apron, utility, roadway, NAVAIDS, fueling facility, and security enhancement projects
  • Collaborate with Civil Engineers, Designers, Technicians, and Planners
  • Travel as needed for construction administration, meetings, and site inspections

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of civil engineering experience post-graduation
  • Knowledge of drafting techniques and engineering practices
  • Experience in airport planning and design
  • Experience with topographic surveys, on-site inspections, and construction observations
  • Training or experience with ArcGIS
