Graduate IT Operations Analyst/Developer

Summary

The IT Operations Analyst/Developer is responsible for handling technical queries, preparing system changes, configuring and testing new products, diagnosing and resolving faults, and improving internal processes. A degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field from a Russel Group University is required, along with experience using programming languages such as Java/C++/C#/Python.

Requirements

• Computer Science or STEM related degree from a Russel Group University or equivalent
• Good GCSEs and A-levels
• Experience using a programming language from Java/C++/C#/Python
• A desire to learn C# coding and TSQL
• Strong technical background and knowledge
• Ability to work well within a team and on an individual basis
• Good problem solver
• Willing to work to create solutions
• Good numerical, oral, and written skills

Responsibilities

• Database configuration and testing of new products and services
• Technical fault diagnosis, testing and resolution
• Day-to-day support functions as required for internal and external clients
• Ad-hoc internal management and external client reporting, using SQL scripts/stored procedures
• Work on internal processes to improve performance, reliability and usability through developing custom software

Preferred Qualifications

Use of Visual Studio Development environment is desirable but not essential
