Join Synapticure as a Grant Strategy Manager/Professional Grant Writer & Scientific Writer and play a crucial role in supporting our R&D initiatives. Requirements

• Possess an advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant scientific field (e.g., biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, pharmacology)
• Have a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in grant writing and/or scientific writing within the biotech or healthcare sectors
• Demonstrate exceptional written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, structured, and persuasive grant proposals
• Have experience with key grant funding agencies (e.g., NIH, private foundations)
• Possess a proven track record of securing grant funding and publishing peer-reviewed research
• Be proficient in using grant writing software and bibliographic databases
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment across disciplines
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office and other research-related tools
• Be comfortable working remotely, managing multiple stakeholders, and collaborating across departments

Responsibilities

• Identify and track non-dilutive funding opportunities from industry, government agencies, private foundations, and other relevant sources tailored to Synapticure’s research and development initiatives
• Write compelling grant proposals, including project narratives, budgets and justifications, biosketches, and letters of support
• Maintain oversight of grant progress reports and ensure compliance with funder requirements
• Draft and edit high-quality scientific manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals, respond to peer reviewer feedback, and revise manuscripts accordingly
• Prepare abstracts, biosketches, and related materials for conference applications and presentations
• Work closely with Principal Investigators (PIs), research teams, and Synapticure’s leadership to align research initiatives with funding priorities
• Track grant submissions, funding decisions, and prepare necessary revisions and appeals when needed
• Collaborate with PIs to write and update research protocols in alignment with Synapticure’s R&D teams
