Greek Speaking Social Media Manager

Summary

Join 1000heads as a Freelance Greek-speaking Community Manager and contribute to their London-based team virtually. This part-time role (2 hours/day, Mon-Fri) involves managing social media for a global FMCG brand in the Greek market. Responsibilities include translation, publishing, content ideation, moderation, community engagement, influencer activation, and strategic planning. The position requires excellent communication skills in Greek and English, social media expertise, creative content development abilities, and proficiency in various social platforms. Agency experience is preferred. The role offers remote work flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on impactful social media campaigns.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
• An understanding of social media and its impact on brands
• An eye for creative content: both written and visual
• The ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye on the finer details
• Proficiency in using a wide variety of social platforms and tools
• Agency experience working with social media
• The ability to think: Creatively (capable of thinking differently and disruptively)

• The ability to think: Intelligently (critical think that identifies gaps and fills them)

Responsibilities

• Provide translation, publishing, content ideation, and moderation for the Greek market for a global FMCG brand
• Lead the charge on global social channels with social editorial planning and publishing, 1-2-1 community engagement, and developing bold and exciting ways to activate influencers and events on social
• Plan and create social content strategies and editorial calendars, working directly with our Design and Ideation teams to develop creative concepts and design briefs that deliver activations and social assets that take them on this journey
• Stimulating and sustaining conversations and relationships with a brand’s audience

Preferred Qualifications

This is a remote, freelance position (ideally, you will be based in Greece, but we are open on this point) for an experienced Community Manager to work with our London-based team
