Summary

Join SAPI, a company specializing in custom financing products, as their Group Financial Controller. Lead financial operations and reporting across SAPI Group, SPVs, and capital provider partners. Manage accounting, cash operations, reporting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Oversee daily cash operations, funding flow reconciliations, and facility metrics. Collaborate with Product & Tech teams to automate reporting and manage VAT strategy. Support the Vietnam finance team. This hybrid/remote role (UK-based) offers flexibility with a one-day-a-week office presence in London for those located there.

Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW (or equivalent) qualified
  • Proven ability to prepare and sign off management accounts across multi-entity structures, with expertise in intercompany reconciliations and consolidation logic
  • Strong track record in multi-entity accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and SPV audits
  • Solid grasp of VAT in financial services and revenue waterfall logic
  • Clear communicator who can work seamlessly with operations, legal, tech, and external stakeholders
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident in owning the numbers end-to-end

Responsibilities

  • Lead the accounting, cash operations, and financial controls across SAPI Group, our SPVs, and our capital provider interfaces
  • Own month-end and year-end closes, management accounts, and audit processes for multiple entities
  • Keep our SPV accounting watertight – from loan flows to revenue waterfalls
  • Oversee daily cash operations, funding flow reconciliations, and facility metrics
  • Be the go-to person for funder reporting, explaining not just what the numbers are, but why they matter
  • Collaborate with our Product & Tech teams to validate and automate reporting
  • Manage VAT strategy and coordinate with advisors for compliance across borders
  • Support and guide our Vietnam finance team members
