Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in hardware engineering with a strong focus on software verification and validation
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing hardware systems integrated with complex software applications
  • Hands-on experience with software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, and C++ for test script development and hardware interfacing
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, signal processing, embedded systems, and real-time operating systems
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C) and network architectures

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize hardware components used in autonomous trucks
  • Create and execute detailed software verification plans to ensure the reliability and performance of systems
  • Maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to validate software's functionality in conjunction with hardware components
  • Track software defects, collaborating with development teams to address and resolve issues promptly
  • Conduct system-level testing to validate performance, reliability, and safety standards
  • Assist in the integration of both hardware and software systems, ensuring they work harmoniously and communicate effectively

  • Take a hands-on role in on-site activities such as system calibration, functional testing, and performance tuning of the robotic trucks
  • Oversee the installation, setup, and initial testing of hardware and software systems in the field
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues during commissioning
  • Document results and provide recommendations for improvement
