Hawaiian Language Verifier

Summary

Join our team as a Hawaiian Language Verifier and contribute to the verification of language skills. As a project-based contractor, you will work remotely and have a flexible schedule. Your duties will include creating language verification tests, quality control, and evaluating submissions.

Requirements

• Native-level (C2) proficiency in the Hawaiian language (ISO: haw)
• Ability to read and write in the required language
• Familiarity with linguistics, as well as grammar and writing system/s of the required language
• Knowledge of colloquialisms, grammar and linguistic idiosyncrasies unique to the required language
• Ability to record yourself speaking clearly, in a quiet environment
• Responsiveness to email
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Computer and internet skills
• Web search skills
• Typing

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned tasks
• Meet assigned deadlines
• Report progress in a proactive manner to project managers
• Communicate with project managers in a timely and effective manner
• Follow guidelines and requirements as dictated by the project manager
• Communicate in English with project managers via email (verbal communication is not required)
